We see you,
the full human.

OUR THERAPISTS VIEW “SYMPTOMS” THROUGH A HUMANISTIC AND TRAUMA INFORMED LENS. THIS MEANS YOUR THERAPIST WILL HELP YOU GAIN INSIGHT INTO THE FACTORS THAT HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO YOUR STRUGGLES INCLUDING NEUROTYPE, PAST TRAUMA, SYSTEMIC OPPRESSION, CURRENT ENVIRONMENT, AND LEVEL OF SUPPORT.

Wander therapists are here to support you in finding authenticity and connection. We support you in processing the trauma inherent in living in an ableist world and reducing shame around your neurotype. Our providers have lived experience with neurodiversity and queerness, and this creates a comfort and safety in the relationships we foster with our clients.

We have a strong commitment to social justice and our therapists provide services from a cultural humility lens. We have an organizational commitment to anti-racism and work as a team to continue growth in this area. We work to serve clients who have often received harm from the field of therapy (LGBTQ+, BIPOC, ADHD, and Autistic clients) and work to provide affirming and corrective therapeutic experiences.

Our space is designed with sensory needs in mind and is a low light and a low stimulation environment. We encourage our clients to stay a while after or before their sessions, soak in the downtown and ocean views and enjoy our space.
